Carl Richards became an accidental artist with his simple sketches that make complex financial concepts easy to understand. He is a regular contributor to The New York Times each week for the Bucks blog for NYTimes.com. Carl’s sketches also serve as the foundation for his first book, The Behavior Gap (2012). His art has been featured in exhibits and installations across the United States.
Carl regularly appears on American Public Radio’s “Marketplace Money” and writes a column for Morningstar Advisor. He keynotes financial planning conferences and visual learning events.
