Irv Rothenberg, CPA/PFS is a principal emeritus of Buckingham Asset Management, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor firm in St. Louis. He is also a principal emeritus and co-founder of BAM Advisor Services, LLC, a comprehensive service provider to independent Registered Investment Advisor firms across the country .
In 1995, Irv founded Wealth Management Consultants in Santa Rosa, Calif. He has more than 30 years of experience as a CPA providing financial advisory services to his clients. Irv specializes in personal wealth management strategies with a focus on wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving tools and retirement withdrawal planning. He was one of the first CPAs in the United States to obtain the professional designation of Personal Financial Specialist granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Irv was awarded the AICPA’s PFP Distinguished Service Award in 2011.
He serves on the boards of the Sonoma State University Academic Foundation, the Community Foundation Sonoma County, the California Society of CPAs’ Committee on Personal Financial Planning and the Green Music Center Foundation. He has also served as a member of the National Endowment for Financial Education and the AICPA PFP Executive Committee and as chairman of the AICPA PFP Conference.
