Adam Birenbaum, JD is Buckingham's chief executive officer and a principal of the firm. He is also a principal of BAM Advisor Services, LLC.
When he joined Buckingham, despite working on his law degree and having prior experience as an investment banker, Adam started out filing paperwork and moving desks. It took six years for Adam to work his way up to become the youngest principal in the firm’s history, and his development culminated with him taking the reins at Buckingham, while continuing to serve in his other capacities.
Adam has also led a number of significant initiatives for Buckingham. He played a key role as the firm was acquired by Focus Financial Partners and as Buckingham, in turn, acquired Wealth Management Consultants, based in Santa Rosa, Calif. He is also quickly becoming a fixture in the media, having been featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and on RIABiz.com.
Adam earned a juris doctorate from the Saint Louis University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in history from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
