Bert Schweizer III, CPA/PFS, co-founded Buckingham in 1994 and serves as the firm’s chairperson, a principal and a wealth advisor. He is also a principal and co-founder of BAM Advisor Services, LLC.

 

Before forming Buckingham, Bert served as principal and shareholder with the CPA firm Pasternak, Schweizer & Co., P.C. He also worked for KPMG Peat Marwick. His experience includes numerous aspects of accounting, tax and consulting for individuals and closely held businesses — including estate and retirement planning, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, marital dissolutions, tax and financial planning, and expert witness testimony.

 

Bert has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
